Trips for dolphin and whale watching can be arranged from both these beaches. We are 8 minutes away from King Shaka International Airport. Cathy and Bernard have both learnt to love and cook all types of different foods, their specialities being Eastern and Creole Cuisine! Catering for company dinner functions can be arranged upon request. Birthday parties, weddings, engagements, christenings, baby showers, kitchen teas and bachelor parties are also part of our wide variety of facilities.

De Charmoy Estate Guest House and bed and breakfast is only five minutes away from King Shaka International Airport and ten minutes drive from one of the largest shopping centres in the Southern Hemisphere - Gateway Theatre of Shopping. The Pavilion Shopping Center, La Lucia Mall and Flea Markets are also a short drive away. We are eight minutes from one of the most beautiful Golf Estates in South Africa - Mount Edgecombe Country Club. Zimbali & Beachwood Country Club are also near by. If you are a keen golfer drop off and pick up's to these venues can be arranged. Sibaya Casino and Sun Coast Casino are a short drive away including the centre of Durban.

If you are traveling along the N2 North or the M4 North, take the Mount Edgecombe/Phoenix turn off which is the M41 - this will become the RI02 just past Verulam. Travel on this road until you see Verulam village on your right (landmark - BP Station). At the next set of robots, signs will point you to Hazelmere Dam on the left go about 100m and Mt Moreland on the right (landmark - Umdloti River and overhead railway bridge "arched"). Turn right towards Mt Moreland, First left turn off on this road is Coniston Ridge (landmark - brick bus stop on right and stone sign reading "Windermere Estates"). Travel up Coniston, the road narrows half way up - at the T-junction you will see the house straight ahead with the name plate on the right hand wall.
