Glen Afric Country Lodge nestles in the Magaliesburg Mountains near Hartbeespoort Dam, 20 minutes from Pretoria and 40 minutes from Johannesburg, South Africa. The Lodge is set in a game reserve consisting of over 700,000 hectares of bush felt where wild animals are free to roam. Glen Afric also has a number of predators and over over 300 species of bird. Glen Afric Country lodge is open to both day visitors and resident guests every day of the year. With an array of activities available from game drives to elephant walks, or simply sitting on the deck at the lodge watching the wildlife go by; you are never short of things to do. Glen Afric Country Lodge’s guest house can sleep up to 42 guests. With both twin rooms and double rooms available. The tented camp consists of 5 en suite tents with twin beds set in the middle of a beautiful clearing. This is an ideal location to truly experience the real bush and nature. The cottages Our first cottage is a stunning three bedroom thatched cottage with its own private decking area that looks out onto one of the lakes at the farm. In the summer our family of hippos are your neighbours. The facilities available at the cottage are a kitchen diner, outside seating area; each bedroom has its own bathroom, a TV and DVD is also available in the spacious sitting room. Our second cottage is an attractive one bedroom cottage with views of the lake, the cottage has a kitchen dinner and sitting room with TV and DVD. The outside decking area is a perfect place to have lunch or dinner.
