The Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, Limpopo province. The 46, 000 seats in the stadium is the northern most of all the stadiums for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. It is one of five new stadiums being built for the prestigious trophy. The stadium is close to the Tropic of Capricorn. The Limpopo province is true Bushveld country and considered one of the best places to go hunt in South Africa.

Polokwane (‘Place of Safety’), also known as Pietersburg, is the most important economical hub of the Northern part of the country. The main attraction in the region is it’s natural beauty. The province forms part of the Kruger National Park. This wilderness is one of the largest game reserves in Africa and the most popular tourist destination in the country. Game viewing opportunities are in abundance.

The Peter Mokaba Stadium was named after a former leader of the ANC Youth League and is close to the existing Polokwane Stadium. The Stadium will host four group games on the 13th, 17th, 22nd and the 24th of June. This football action will have the entire region mesmerized as big events are usually reserved for Johannesburg and it ill now be going all the way north.
